Colloidal Silver ~ What's the Scoop?

Shortly after I joined Nutronix, one of the Tuesday evening product calls featured a guest speaker, Dr. Kenneth Friedman Ph.D. (received his education at MIT and Harvard, with a Ph.D. at the State University of New York and has been published widely). Dr Friedman spoke extensively on the benefits and use of colloidal silver in treating a host of medical conditions. I was very intrigued by what I heard, so I started to do some reading on the topic of colloidal silver. There is an enormous amount of information on the subject of colloidal silver, both for and against. So who is telling the truth and what are the facts?

At the same time, I decided to order the The New Silver SolutionTM marketed exclusively by Nutronix. What I discovered astounded me. I used the colloidal silver to treat ear infections, burns, athletes foot, diaper rash, sinusitis, sore throats, colds, bug bites, minor infections, and so on. I found that the silver solution was effective, very effective in treating all these conditions. In our extended family we have significantly reduced the need for antibiotics, and seen first hand the healing effects of the colloidal silver.

I suffered for endless years with sinusitis. Every year, in spring, I would catch a cold, it would develop into sinusitis and on occasion into bronchitis and pneumonia. Often, several bouts of antibiotics were needed to clear up the infection. Three years ago, I got the usual cold and when my teeth start to ache, I know my sinuses are infected. Using the nasal sprayer, I started using the colloidal silver, spraying it up into my sinus passages. I did this frequently for a few days, by the 3rd day the pain and pressure were subsiding and within a week my sinuses were clear, and I did not need to go on antibiotics. To me this was astounding.

My granddaughter, suffered from frequent ear infections. She was staying with us for an extended time while her mom was ill. After, a couple of trips to the doctor and a few prescriptions, I began to put drops of silver into her ears, anytime I observed her rubbing them, pulling at them and exhibiting the usual crankiness that went along with her ear infections. Within a day she would be herself again and not rubbing her ears any more, and we did not need to see the doctor. She has not been plagued with ear infections since.

On two occasions, I accidentally poured boiling hot water on my hands. I sprayed them with silver immediately, and did so ever few minutes for about 10 minutes. I developed no redness, no blisters, and had no pain. Within I/2 hour, I would not have known that I just burnt my hands. When the same thing happened to my husband just recently, he was amazed at how effective the colloidal silver was in treating the burn. It is also very effective for treating sunburn.

Every heard of Molluscum Contagiosum. This is a very contagious viral skin infection. Unfortunately, one of the grandchildren caught the virus, and that started what I call a minor epidemic. It spread from one child to another. Mollusum is very hard to treat, and after the topical remedies were found ineffective, the dermatologist treated the lesions with Pulsed laser dye therapy. Following this expensive method of treatment, the lesions began to heal, but not before my son, my daughter and myself also developed the infection. I decided to try using the colloidal silver to treat my lesions. Several times each day I would spray the lesions with ionic silver. My son used the topical ointment the dermatologist prescribed. His got worse, while my lesions started to clear and within three weeks had all disappeared. My son, on the other hand, continued to be plagued with them for several months and several specialist visits. Too be honest, I really had not expected it to work, but was very glad it did.

These are just a few examples of my experience in using the silver solution. It worked, and it worked for many different things. So why had I never heard of it before then, and why did my doctor not recommend it to treat the molluscum. Why don't more people know about it and use it? That's what I wanted to know.

I continued to read all the information I could find on Colloidal Silver. There was no shortage of information to glean off the Internet. The challenge was to sort fact from fiction and come to some conclusion based on these facts. Since, I am convinced that there is much benefit to be gained from the use of a proper formulated silver solution, I decided to share my research and findings in the hope of increasing awareness of the benefits of colloidal silver. Much of this information, you will find scattered about on the Internet. I have just collected as much information as I could and tried to figure out what the real Scoop is.
